What a year 2020 has been for all of us, a lot has happened during this year, it has truly been a challenge for everyone around the world to adjust to the pandemic and measures placed because of it. At the same time, it has been a wonderful time for the crypto space to grow and finally getting out of the bear trend with Bitcoin breaking its ATH after almost 3 years.
For DappStats it has been a wonderful journey as well with many speedbumps during our journey but at the same time been a learning and adapting period for us. We have come a long way from when DappStats came online back in Sept 2019 and continuing to keep building for the vision and goal we saw at the inception of the project. Many platforms have come and gone during this period while we have continued pushing ahead.
The latest hurdle we faced which we are sure everyone is aware of has been the most stressful one that has caused a lot of delays to plans of future implementations and changes, the hurdle being the smart contract issue. Today we are happy to announce that we are ready to move this hurdle behind us as well and continue pushing forward.
To give everyone an idea of what to expect by the end of this week, we will be taking the following steps:
- Testing of the new smart contract ( Done )
- Deployment of the new smart contract ( Done )
- Unfreeze period set to ‘instant’ on the old contract ( Done )
- Transfer feeder contract pool from the old contract to the new contract ( Done )
- Update UI with the new smart contract connection ( In Progress )
- Token Freeze will resume once new contract is connected to the site
- Transfer Div contract pool from old contract to the new contract ( 15th Dec )
- Daily payouts to resume ( 15th Dec )
We will complete the missing payouts on the 15th of Dec aswell by distribution of 50% of the div pool to cover the missing payouts, so everyone has a chance to freeze their tokens on the new smart contract.
We are also conducting a vote in our VIP group in regards of distribution of divs, wheather it should remain daily or change. ( Please note this is just to see the sentiment of the community and no such changes have been finalised yet )
We understand that this whole situation with the missed divs has been a headache which was out of our hands, for this unforseen inconvience we have decided to add 25,000 TRX to the div pool from our side on the 17th of Dec as a thank you to the community for their patience and understanding.
